Understanding you as a whole person
Dyspraxia can affect people in different ways. Differences with coordination, movement, balance, motor planning and organisation may form part of somebody’s experience, but they do not tell the whole story.
A dyspraxia assessment at AXIA looks at the broader picture, including how these differences may affect everyday activities, education, work, independence and confidence. We also take time to understand your developmental history, strengths and the strategies you may already use in daily life.
We provide dyspraxia assessments for children, young people and adults, with each assessment centred around the individual rather than a single checklist of difficulties.

Pre-assessment
We provide dyspraxia assessments for children, young people and adults, with each assessment centred around the individual rather than a single checklist of difficulties.
Start with a Pre-assessment Appointment
This appointment helps us understand what has brought you to AXIA and what you would like support with. Together, we can explore if a dyspraxia assessment, or another AXIA pathway, may be the most appropriate option for your individual circumstances.
You may leave feeling confident that a full assessment is the right next step, or we may identify another service or assessment that better suits your needs. If you go on to book a full assessment, the cost of your Pre-assessment can be deducted from the assessment price.
Find the right pathway
Talk through your needs and get guidance on the AXIA assessment or service that may be most appropriate for you.
Make an informed decision
Understand your options before committing to a full assessment, helping you avoid paying for a service that may not be the right fit.
