All I can say on that matter is, Everyone in the whole wide world needs “an Alex” in their life, she was my absolute saving grace, she kept me sane, her advice was invaluable and she didn’t care when yet another email popped up for her from me (and I can assure you, there were LOADS!!).
She was so knowledgeable and kind, caring and supportive. She treated me as an individual the entire time, my life and experiences felt like they really mattered to her. When I doubted myself, it felt like I had a safe hand holding me up, she was a safety net, a comfort blanket. I just knew, deep down, I could get through anything with her “virtually” by my side.”

100% recommend Axia. Had my assessment with Dr Sarah and felt listened to and understood during, and more confident after my diagnosis from my assessment. She took the time to understand and put me at ease (as much as was possible!) and her report really helped explain things for me and bring some much needed clarity to my very over-thinking head! The whole process with Axia was smooth and straight-forward which I appreciated. As a female adult, I felt really understood by Dr Sarah which matters to me a lot with this kind of thing so thank you Axia!

From referral to assessment I could not fault Axia, they were responsive to emails and provided help and support throughout. The clinician who carried out the assessment made me feel at ease. In particular, it was clear the staff put a lot of effort in to make sure the process is understandable, including offering extra support if you are uncertain or have questions. Before I selected Axia for my RTC, I consulted and looked into multiple service providers and reached out to them. The responses and clearness of communication with which Axia staff responded to my emails at the stage stood above and beyond.
The time between choosing Axia and Axia contacting me was much quicker than expected. The same can be said for the appointments that Axia were able to provide.
After picking my appointment each phone call and email I had leading up to the appointment was excellent and made me feel comfortable. I usually dread speaking on the phone but speaking to the admin staff at Axia felt easier. When I was anxious about different things they were able to put me at ease and I felt like people were listening and cared. They went above and beyond in offering help and being specific about the location and what would happen on the day or offering if I needed assistance filling in the questionnaire.
On the day when I arrived I was nervous and unsure about how it would work but before I really had to worry about knocking, I was greeted by a friendly member of staff who came out of what I would describe as an office/reception type space to greet me and ask my name.
The assessor was clear throughout.

From the very beginning, Cath Williams in the administrative team went above and beyond—she kept things moving, especially when funding in my area had paused. Without her, I wouldn’t have been able to get this crucial support in time, also for Halil Varli and Alice Buckley assistance that I remember too, I hope I have mot missed any one else?
Once everything started, every member of the team was so attentive—they kept me informed, responded quickly, and really made me feel cared for. And on the day of the assessment, David Reiser, my assessor, was simply fantastic. Everything he said really resonated with me; he had such a deep understanding of what I’ve been going through. My experience from my initial enquiry was entirely positive
My experience from my initial enquiry was entirely positive. My GP practice took a long time to process the referral but communication from Axia throughout was clear and responsive. The paperwork was clear and comprehensive and the wait for assessment shorter than I expected.
I was very anxious about the whole process but Hannah was very supportive and made it feel like a conversation rather than an assessment. I felt listened to and validated after a lifetime of having my differences dismissed as being shy/ awkward/ rude/ difficult.
I would definitely recommend your service to other women who think they might be autistic.

The experience from beginning to end was excellent
The experience from beginning to end was excellent. There was a little wait for the appointment, but it was worth it, and I would 100% recommend Axia to anyone.
All staff were professional, understanding and so kind. All information provided from the time we made the appointment was thorough. Ren the Neurodevelopmental Diagnostician was amazing, he made my son feel comfortable, he was considerate and had a disposition which made my son open up – super grateful to have had an appointment with him.
Being diagnosed has helped my son so much already in positive ways we didn’t expect. Thank you so much!

The communication before, during and after the appointment was great
The communication before, during and after the appointment was great. I was really anxious leading up to it but that went away as soon as I sat down in the room for the assessment.
The conversation was easy and did not feel clinical or intimidating at all and there was zero pressure to mask, make eye contact or feel as though I should act in a certain way to appear more “normal”. It felt really validating and I couldn’t be happier with Ren’s help during the entire thing, he was great. Couldn’t recommend a better experience for the whole thing.

This is the second time I have used your service and it was faultless again
This is the second time I have used your service and it was faultless again. The appointment I was given was much sooner than I expected and my clinician was so understanding of my autism and the struggles I face.
When I spoke about different things, she gave a thorough reason for why I experience things that way and it was very comforting. The room felt very calm and I was able to choose the clinician I saw previously with my child so everything was familiar to me.
I received my report quickly and it was very thorough with lots of detail. Thank you so much.

I have had a really positive experience with the Axia Service
I have had a really positive experience with the Axia Service. I was fortunate to be referred through my CBT counsellor, which helped to reduce my waiting time, and I was incredibly grateful for this.
Renwick Bromiley was my diagnostician, and I truly appreciate the support he provided during our appointment. He listened to me with genuine care and made me feel truly seen—something I had not experienced before. When I shared my previous experience of feeling dismissed during a diagnostic process, he expressed sincere empathy and went above and beyond to ensure I left our session feeling validated and understood. His kindness and professionalism made such a difference, and I cannot recommend him highly enough.
I am also really grateful for all the communication I have received from Axia throughout this process. Their emails have been so helpful, providing me with all the relevant letters and information I needed, which has made everything feel so much more manageable. I am very grateful.

I found the assessment was very thorough and in a relaxed and positive environment. It kept xxx at ease and allowed him to be himself to help give a true reflection to the adults observing and questioning us and him.
The environment involved inside and outside spaces which allowed for regular breaks for xxx but for the breaks to be done safely outside with an adult whilst we continued answering the questions. The report came through quicker than expected and with useful tools to help us and school support xxx.

My overall experience with Axia has been nothing but positive
My overall experience with Axia has been nothing but positive – from the first enquiry I made about how to apply for Right to Choose, through the organisation of a virtual appointment, the clarity on information requests, the prompt response to any questions I had, whether it be by telephone or email, right through to the post assessment information documents.
My assessment interview with Sarah Hendrickx was very clarifying and also very helpful to me in understanding myself, she has a wonderful open, honest approach which made it easy to communicate with her.
