NAS – Autism Hour Update

A Message from the National Autistic Society.

As you know, during the week of 2-8 October shops and services across the UK are hosting National Autistic Society Autism Hours, spending 60 minutes making small changes – from dimming the lights to turning down music – to be more autism-friendly.

There will be a number of events taking place in Cheshire West and Chester and we hope to see you at some of them.

We are asking members to sign up so that they will get alerts about where the National Autistic Society Autism Hours will be taking place:

So please take a few minutes to sign up as well as sharing with friends and family.

Go to the Autism Hour map to see which shops and services are participating in your area. Clarks shoes, Pets at Home and intu shopping centres (including the intu Trafford Centre) are among the national retailers already signed up to Autism Hour. The map will be updated with new signups in the lead-up to 2 October, so do check in regularly to see what’s happening in your area.
