NAS – Volunteering heroes, World Cup fever, and climbing Ben Nevis

2,000 amazing volunteers − one big thank you!

We celebrated Volunteers’ Week at the start of June, saying thank you to all the amazing people who give up their time to help others. We’ve got over 2,000 superstar volunteers and without these helpful heroes, we couldn’t do what we do. From school bus drivers to helpline supporters, to ‘in the crowd and very loud’ cheerer on-ers at events and volunteers running our local branches, we are truly grateful to all of them. Thank you.

One volunteer you have to meet is a young autistic man called Mike who volunteers his time and talents to run a music session at his local National Autistic Society centre. If you’ve been inspired by Mike and would like to find out more about volunteering, you can register your interest to become a volunteer.
