Well it’s come to that time again when we thought we would give a little update. There has been some staffing changes within Axia ASD Ltd. Sarah Foran-Kent has moved on to pastures new and we now have Gail Pirie working as Administrator and supporting Carly in the day to day administration of the business. Welcome Gail!

Well it’s been a busy year so far and lots of changes happening. We have seen a definite increased in the number of self-referrals being made to our service accessing us for diagnosis and post-diagnostic support from around the UK.

We are proud to be part of the local adult peer support group being facilitated currently by Autism Networks based on Prince Albert Street in Crewe. We aim to attend the group on a monthly basis so keep coming back to see when we are next due to be over! We will be there on Wednesday 20 August and look forward to seeing some of you there.

Anna is starting her Masters course in September – we wish her the best of luck!

Calvin has taken on a more active role within the company and likes to be known as the Nerd Consultant!

We were hoping to be at the Party in the Park event on Sunday 10 August but sadly this got cancelled due to the Great British weather! Hopefully, Calvin’s cakes can be sampled at next year’s event.

Preparations are well under way for our Dyspraxia Conference in October – all of our free spaces have been allocated now – if you would like to book a place please contact Carly. The daily delegate rate is £40 plus VAT. This looks to be a really good day!

And finally, we are pleased to introduce Dream. He now maintains and updates our website for which we are extremely grateful for his knowledge and expertise in this area.
