Hi,
I have been diagnosed with Autism SPectrum Disorder in Jan 2024 at the are of 33. I am planning to attend the session tomorrow. Can you let me know where there is parking, and if there is a number I can contact Axia incase I cannot find the group at the race track?
Regards,
Daniel
Hi Daniel, we look forward to greeting you! Just head for the racecourse, there is free parking there (you will be directed when you arrive, just tell them you’re coming to a meeting with Axia). We will be in the Paddock Room.
Politics rears its ugly head again, unfortunately. 😉 But if this is a topic too far removed from Axia’s remit, I certainly won’t object if it doesn’t make the cut. Now, is this a good place to post the following? Well strangely enough, this might be the right place, because it concerns how secure we might feel about consultations, career advice and therapies. But please feel free to either omit this post completely or place it somewhere more appropriate. But it also occurs to me that this is an issue that might also come up in PDSG meetings later this year.
Here’s a vlog link that explores and critiques the ‘delays’ in DSM 6, and then questions whether it will ever actually happen in the traditional format.
It also looks into controversial plans for future mental health provision in the UK.
