Strong Female Character – Review

Strong Female Character

by Fern Brady
Published by Octopus Books

ISBN 978-1-914240-44-7

You may have heard the name Fern Brady, or may have come across her on several TV programmes. She’s very likeable and quick witted.

Her book is for everyone and anyone – are you interested in the subject of Autism, do you know someone or are perhaps related to someone who is Autistic, or are you Autistic yourself?

This book speaks to everyone.

It’s rare to find a book so open, with nothing held back that is both life affirming and heartbreaking.

Sometimes sad, often funny and at times inevitably shocking, Fern describes her life from her earliest memories to present day.

Surprisingly it is not a difficult read being well written and moving at a pace which draws the reader into Fern’s life, leaving you richer for having shared her bravery and honesty.

This book portrays the real person behind the mask.
