Well, last week was the final week of lists. As of this point, I’m only going to post something if I have something to review, particularly in light of the fact that cinemas are coming back in the next couple of weeks. I intend to aim to get a consistent schedule of film reviews out.…

Since I’ve been doing these countdowns to supplement my time away from cinema, Disney and the Oscars seem to have been two things that I’ve been constantly going back to. And, well, I didn’t have to really give my opinion on the Oscars in 2021, but once again Disney had a major presence. It’s no…

Look, I’ll be honest; I’m not perfect. But, most of the time, when I put out a review my opinion does not change on the film. I think I’ve made it obvious in the past that I really do like a good Sherlock Holmes story, and I was going to do a whole thing about all my different favourite Sherlock Holmes adaptations but I felt I wanted to narrow it down to this one in particular for now. If you haven’t…

I know I’ve been negative the last couple of weeks but this is a list I really wanted to make since the start of lockdown. And considering that I could be about to go back to the cinema, I might not get another chance to make this. I promise I’ll do something more positive next…

I watched a video on YouTube by the group Overly Sarcastic Productions where they talked about plot twists. I actually mentioned it in last week’s post about why the plot twists in the Saw movies work when I mentioned some of the reasons that were listed for what makes a plot twist bad. The conclusion…
