April PDSG – A Message from Sarah

Hello Everyone,

I hope you are all well and safe and obviously missing the sight of my face whilst isolating! I was going to make a new presentation but then found this one which sounds much more coherent than me yabbering at my kitchen table. You will notice that I am in a church on the video orating in a somewhat religious setting which is more grand than a room in Crewe!

Hopefully you will find the talk interesting and give you something to think about. Perhaps we will have a short discussion about it when we next meet.

Until then, I hope you are enjoying not being touched by people as much as I am!

Glad I watched this. It came after a long day of not interacting particularly well with someone who has rather fixed ideas on how everything should be done during a lockdown; but I’m very sure I could easily be perceived as an intensely annoying person, myself. But,I do enjoy not taking myself too seriously all of the time. So I had quite a few laughs over Sarah’s presentation, whilst frequently thinking to myself, “Been there, done that!”. But I also really learned something from having my own experience validated. This helped to brighten my day.
