EXCITING TIMES
It’s been a busy old start to 2014! Conferences aplenty! We have had exhibition stands at both the Autism Networks Winter Conference which took place in Crewe Alexandra Football Club and also, the most prestigious, National Autistic Society’s Professionals Conference which took place in Harrogate’s International Conference Centre. This event saw us depleted of almost 300 of our shiny, purple pens which went down a treat! Let us know if you would like one………
The NAS Professionals Conference is a two-day event in which professionals listen to a wide variety of speakers on various topics and it cannot be recommended highly enough! The food was fantastic and exhibition stand number 3 was definitely worth visiting (Axia ASD Ltd)!!!
After the success of the last two events we have attended we are hoping to attend a couple more in 2014 – watch this space for further information…..
As some of you may be aware, World Autism Awareness Day is on 2 April 2014 – who will be wearing their onesies (or pyjamas) with us???
This last quarter has seen an increase in referrals and also, what seems, an increase in interest for the services we at Axia ASD Ltd provide. More importantly the feedback we are receiving is extremely positive – something which means a lot to us here, Dr Buchan personally also!
Our Fibromyalgia research project is now underway – if you would like to participate in this research please contact Carly on 01244 56 76 56 or by email on enquiries@axia-asd.co.uk. We are primarily interested in people with Fibromyalgia and/or ASD to answer a short questionnaire in the first instance. Any information we can collate about a particular link with these two conditions, and as a consequence, help us in supporting our clients, would be very gratefully received!
Finally, don’t forget we are hosting our very own Conference on 10 October 2014 all about Dyspraxia/Developmental Coordination Difficulties. If you would like to attend, please contact Carly on 01244 56 76 56 or by email on enquiries@axia-asd.co.uk.
Here’s to 2014 – our motto for the next quarter is:
“Let’s work together in partnership to help each and everyone reach their full potential”
