We are delighted to have Dr Luke Beardon join us for the Post Diagnostic Support Group on Wednesday 28th September 2022, 12pm-2pm. He will be leading a session titled
‘How to feel safe as an Autistic person’
and this will be followed by a Q&A session.
Dr Luke Beardon is Senior Lecturer in Autism at Sheffield Hallam University. He has published widely on autism and is renowned and respected for his uniquely inclusive, celebratory approach to helping autistic people thrive in a neurotypical world.
If you would like to join this session, and are not already signed up to the group, please send an email to social@axia-asd.co.uk with the following information:
- Name
- Date of birth
- Date of assessment
This is a hybrid session, meaning that it will be available both in person, at Chester Racecourse, and virtually, via Zoom. When you sign up to the group you will be sent a guide that provides information on both methods, so you can choose the option that works best for you.
We hope to see you there!

Hi Linda,
I am already signed up to receive emails from Axia and want to
watch the How to feel safe as an autistic person by Dr Luke Beardon, how will I access this please?
Hi Michelle,
If you are already a member of the post diagnostic support group then you should have received an email on Friday with more information on how to join this session.
If you did not receive this email, it may be that you have signed up to receive emails from us when new posts are added to the website, but have not actually registered as a member of the PDSG.
The group is for adults who have been diagnosed by Axia. If you would like to join, please send an email with your full name, date of birth and date of assessment to social@axia-asd.co.uk
If this does not apply to you, you can catch up on the session as it will be recorded and uploaded to our website a few days after the event.
