Connor Sparrowhawk’s mother becomes campaign patron

My Life My Choice supported the Justice for LB campaign.
Dr Sarah Ryan has been made patron of disability campaign group My Life My Choice.
Dr Ryan became a well known champion of disability rights after her 18-year-old son Connor, who had epilepsy, autism and a learning disability, drowned in a bath at Slade House in Headington in 2013.
 
The Oxford University researcher, who specialises in learning disability research, accepted the figurehead position at the invitation of the Oxford-based charity’s trustees.
