NAS – Help close the gap

Go 7k for the 700k!

Almost everyone has heard of autism now. But many people don’t understand what it can actually be like to be autistic and unhelpful stereotypes are still far too common.

The National Autistic Society wants to close the gap between basic awareness and proper understanding during World Autism Awareness Week, through various activities including our Spectrum Night Walks and returning virtual event, 7k for 700k.

Raise vital funds by walking, running, swimming or cycling 7 kilometres in support of the 700,000 autistic people living in the UK. There is no fundraising minimum, you can take part anywhere in the UK and you get a brand new medal for completing the challenge.

Signup for just £12.

In the words of 9-year-old 7k participant, Thomas Ivor, “you can fulfil your ambitions and do some really incredible things.”

With warmest wishes,

Caroline
Senior Fundraising Campaigns Officer
