Sex and relationships for autistic people

Spectrum features an article exploring relationships and sexuality for autistic people, from meeting a partner to maintaining relationships.

Stephen Shore discusses the difficulties he encountered in early relationships, in particular with social cues that he hadn’t recognised as being intimate.

The article also looks at issues surrounding sex and sensory difficulties, and discusses some sex education programs designed for young autistic people.
