ChAPS – Circulate and Celebrate!

Cheshire Autism Practical Support Ltd. have been waiting 3 weeks to tell you their amazing news – they have been awarded funding of £375,505 from BIG Lottery.

Jo Garner, the Managing Director of ChAPS, shared the following message with us:
It is a game changer for our small charity and we couldn’t be happier for the families that we support, that they will have access to 4 full time members of staff, intensive social skills classes for children, The Club our specialised socialisation group, independence and living skills for adults, 2 CIEH qualifications for adults, counselling, continuation of our autism awareness assemblies in schools and running costs for 3 years.

The Trustees and myself are still in shock – it always felt like a pipe dream and the application process is very tough – but we have got it yippee.

Huge thanks to all our members, staff and trustees past and present because we couldn’t have got to this stage without you xx

You can see our project ‘Brighter Futures’ in black and white or should I say pink and white on the official BIG website HERE
