Axia’s Consultation Rooms
at Brookside Farm Cottage

Axia-ASD are based in Chester, and our Consultation Rooms can be found here at Brookside Farm Cottage on Parkgate Road. Directions can be found below and on our Contact Page.

We have four comfortable and private consultation rooms (the environment in which appointments take place) which are “Autism Friendly”, with a range of sensory items available for use within the clinic sessions. They are intended to create a feeling of “calm and comfortable safety” where we go that extra mile to ensure our clients feel listened to and respected.

Directions to Brookside Farm Cottage…

By Car

The M53, M56, M6 and A483 are all in close proximity to Chester providing excellent transport links.

If you are travelling to us by car, either search for ‘Axia ASD Ltd’ in Google Maps, or search ‘Brookside Farm Cottage, Parkgate Road’ in Apple Maps. We are located next to the Wheatsheaf pub and the King Kabs taxi rank, and there is a small bus stop directly outside our gate. If you drive past us, please do not worry as there is somewhere that you can turn around regardless of which direction you are coming from.

From Chester Railway Station / Bus Interchange

f travelling by train, get off at Chester Railway Station. The railway station is a short taxi ride to Axia. There is a taxi rank outside the train station.

Alternatively, you may wish to get the bus from Chester Bus Interchange. This is around a twelve minute walk away from the railway station. If you would prefer not to walk, you can get the X4 Mold bus from stop S4 at the railway station which will take you to Chester Bus Interchange. This takes around 4 minutes.

From here, you should get the number 22 bus (for West Kirby) and get off at the Fiddler’s Lane bus stop. This will take around ten minutes. You will pass the Axia building just as you are pulling into this bus stop. Please take care when crossing this road as there is a 50mph speed limit.

What to do if you Arrive Early

If you arrive early for your appointment, you may wish to:

Wait in The Wheatsheaf Inn (next door), where they serve tea, coffee and food. We have a good relationship with the staff there and they are happy for our guests to use their facilities
Go to a nearby café. Turn right out of our gates and follow the road to the BP garage, Starbucks and Subway are located behind the garage and Greggs is inside the garage itself
Wait in your car in the car park
