The “NAS Cheshire West and Chester Website” now have their latest newsletter available via the link at the end of this post.

There are a number of items in the newsletter that they would like to draw your attention to.

These include:

Our speaker event. We are fortunate that Dr.Lenny Thornton and Gill Benson have agreed to speak at our AGM / speaker event in June. This will be an excellent evening and is open to both parents and professionals. You do not need to live in CWaC to attend. Places are free, but must be booked. Details on page 3

New Chester Social Skills Group for 16-25-year-olds with ASD/Asperger’s. This is a new group, aimed specifically at young people, going through transition. It will be a chance to make new friends, learn new skills and socialise. More details are on page 4.

Good company: A new group for adults who are looking for social activities. More details are on page 18

Family seminars: We are running a communication strategy seminar, open to parents and professionals. We also hope to run an anger management seminar in the summer term. Keep an eye on the calendar on our website for new activities/meetings.
