SEASONS GREETINGS

T’is the season to be jolly (busy too I might add!!).  We wanted to wish everyone season’s greetings and hope you all have a fantastic festive season.

Axia ASD Ltd will be closed from Friday 20 December 2013 and will re-open on Thursday 2 January 2014.  In the event of an emergency or crisis, please contact your GP, local A & E Department or NHS Direct during this period.

November and December have been busy months for us here – Linda and Carly recently attended the NAS event in Colwyn Bay entitled Autism:  Planning for Change and we had an exhibition stand there too.  This was a very informative event which we found helpful and made some good connections with the North Wales Community of parents and professionals.

Linda and Anna recently presented at the University of Chester’s Equality Forum chaired by the University Secretary and Director of Legal Services which was a huge success!

Axia ASD Ltd also responded to an article in the Clinical Psychology Forum regarding Sharp & Lewis’s article in the September 2013 edition entitled “The process of diagnosing Asperger’s Syndrome”.  If you would like to see a copy of both the article and our letter in response, please get in touch!  This is an area Linda is recognising more and more often with the power of the diagnosis and diagnostician and the adjustment process.  More on this to follow in the next few months.

Well we hope you are enjoying our new website and the services we provide, again if you have any comments, (good, bad or indifferent) please feel welcome to get in touch.
