Do you know any 16-25-year-old autistic people – or are you one yourself – and would like to join our Young Persons Panel and advise us on all our projects and strategy? If so, please read on and send us an application by the 1st of May.
The AET Young Persons Panel is a group of autistic 16-25-year-olds, who meet four times a year. The panel add their voices and life experiences to AET projects and input into the strategy of the AET. As well as providing specific feedback on projects, they have co-chaired AET National Conferences, have spoken at AET events and have been filmed sharing their experiences with professionals.
This year the Young Persons Panel are prioritising applications from young people who have additional needs or a learning disability and those who have never been involved in any volunteering opportunities before. This means you do not need any experience to apply.
