Axia Weekly Bulletin – 28th August

Another busy week here at Axia with our clinicians carrying out excellent work.

We would like to remind everyone due to visit us for an appointment that there is plenty of room to Socially Distance in all of our clinic rooms. We are still observing the rule of 2 metres and would advise that you can wear a mask if you wish to. We also have hand sanitiser in every room in addition to supplies placed around the building. Please ensure you use the hand sanitiser provided before entering the Reception area of the building.

This week we posted an articles from the BBC – ‘ADHD assessment system ‘broken’ with five-year waiting times’ and also from Mental Health Today: ‘Mental health lessons are coming the National Curriculum next week’ highlighting not only the importance of teaching children and young people about the importance of mental health but the responsibility placed on teachers to deliver this in an effective way.

Calvin had a well deserved break from writing reviews this week, however, he did visit the cinema and will be back next week with a review for The Film Society.

He did not take a break from streaming though and on Tuesday he and Ren started playing ‘The Last of Us: Part 2’. They are aiming to stream later as usual at 7:30pm and the game will still be ‘Final Fantasy IX’. Calvin will let everyone know if it can’t go ahead.

Wishing you all a lovely Bank Holiday Weekend.
